New leaders have been named to oversee a state-level business-advocacy group and one of the state’s larger public-housing authorities. Danita Childers has been appointed executive director of the Housing Authority of Cook County, the state’s second-largest public housing authority. Childers began her new role with the group on Monday, according to Marcus King, Director of Strategy and Communication for the housing authority.
