Danita W. Childers

Danita joins our team from the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA), where she has served in various leadership roles since 2009, and is currently the Chief of Development Operations. Before that, she served six years in the City of Chicago’s Department of Planning and Development as the Deputy Commissioner. Her proven track record in revitalizing communities and her commitment to creating affordable housing opportunities align perfectly with the HACC’s ongoing mission. We are confident that under Danita’s leadership, the Housing Authority will continue to thrive and positively impact the lives of our residents.
