Eligibility
To be eligible for Union Avenue Apartments, applicants MUST be disabled and need support services In order to live independently. Applicant's income may not exceed the extremely low-income limit (30% AMI), which is $19,600 for a 1 person household, $22,400 for a 2 person household, $25,200 for a 3 person household, and 27,950 for a 4 person household.

The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program provides rental assistance to help low income persons afford decent and safe rental housing. HCV Programs are funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and administered by public housing agencies throughout the country. The Housing Authority of Cook County (the HACC) is the housing agency that administers an HCV Program in Suburban Cook County.
