Yardi Systems Analyst

SUMMARY
The Yardi Systems Analyst efficiently manages Yardi software at the Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC). They collaborate with users to develop solutions that optimize Yardi and other technology. Responsibilities include maintaining the Yardi system, ensuring timely updates, application administration, creating custom queries and reports, providing user support, training, troubleshooting, and documenting processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Responsible for the implementation of Yardi enhancements, upgrades, patches, and testing according to industry’s best practices.
• Lead the maintenance and development of integrations between the Yardi applications and other systems products and services.
• Troubleshoot technical application issues related to the Yardi SAAS environment.
• Direct the response to requests for assistance related to Yardi and Yardi integrations.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, menu configuration, security, and licensing requirements, adhering to audit controls and defined access request/new hire provisioning processes.
• Monitor system stability to ensure a high level of reliability.
• Create ad-hoc queries and reports based on business reporting requirements.
• Manage Third Party Yardi Consultants.
• Coordinate with relevant departments for testing and end user training when performing significant system updates/upgrades.
• Data Management, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Be responsible for the day-to-day operations, assistance with strategic planning and decision- making necessary to maintain accurate data in the YARDI environment)
• Manage solutions and best practices to maintain valid data in PIC and YARDI.
• Outline project requirements, set priorities, timeframes, agendas, and specifications.
• Stays abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Revises policies to comply with Federal, State, and HUD regulations.
• Perform duties in accordance with the Agency’s policies.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR CERTIFICATION
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 3 – 5 years in a lead technical role supporting Yardi applications.
• Strong problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff; strong service orientation.
• Experience planning and managing the implementation of system changes.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Experience with Yardi SaaS implementations, Yardi Central, hot-fixes, and plug-ins.
• Familiarity with Yardi YSR reporting, Voyager, Elevate, Rent Cafe, Maintenance IQ, and PayScan is a plus.
• Yardi schema knowledge, is a plus.
• Must possess excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

ADDITIONAL WORKING CONDITIONS
• Availability beyond regular hours, occasional travel, valid driver’s license required.
• Requires own transportation.
• Must bend, stoop, crouch, or reach for files or tools.

SALARY
The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $95,000.
