The Kenzie Senior Residences is a privately owned and operated 74-unit senior housing community with one- and two-bedroom apartments located in Mount Prospect IL. To be eligible for the Kenzie Senior Residences, all applicants must be 55 years old or older and have income that does not exceed 50% of the AMI. The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) will be providing rental assistance in 20 of the apartments. Residents of these 20 apartments pay 30% of their income towards the rent and the HACC subsidizes the remainder of the rent to the owner.

Project Based Voucher

The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program provides rental assistance to help low income persons afford decent and safe rental housing. HCV Programs are funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and administered by public housing agencies throughout the country. The Housing Authority of Cook County (the HACC) is the housing agency that administers an HCV Program in Suburban Cook County.
