Ann Rainey Apartments
Public Housing and PBRA residents pay 30% of their income and HACC subsidizes the rest.
Ann Rainey Apartments is a senior housing community, located at 1011 Howard Street, Evanston, Illinois 60202. The PBV Program is a rental assistance program where the resident pays 30% of his/her income towards the rent to the owner and the HACC subsidizes the remainder.
Eligibility
To be eligible for Ann Rainey Apartments, applicants MUST be 62 years of age or older. Applicant’s income may not exceed the very low income limit (50% AMI), which is $32,650 for a 1 person household, $37,300 for a 2 person household, 41,950 for a 3 person household and 46,600 for a 4 person household.

The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program provides rental assistance to help low income persons afford decent and safe rental housing. HCV Programs are funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and administered by public housing agencies throughout the country. The Housing Authority of Cook County (the HACC) is the housing agency that administers an HCV Program in Suburban Cook County.
