The Emerson will include the construction of a sixteen-story apartment facility containing approximately 168 mixed-income units. Interior finishes will be comparable to Class A residential buildings. At ground floor, the landscaping will provide a pleasant semi-public space including a range of trees and flowering plants, a paved pathway, and permanent seating The top floor of the building will include amenities such as a lounge, exercise room, a party room with a kitchen, and a generous exterior deck with grill stations and a fire pit. As required by the city of Evanston, the project will be designed to meet LEED Silver.
